Mind over Matter: Sophie's Big Date
“Ugh, why is picking an outfit so hard?” I groaned as my eyes flicked between the outfits that floated before me, each fighting in an attempt to be worn. “Guys, stop fighting… please you aren’t helping out at all…” .
The green dress with a bow continued to slap around the blouse and jeans. I mean it was quite funny to watch, but now was not the time!
“It shouldn’t be that hard, Soph.” Aria, my red-haired fellow goddess commented from the bed she was perched on. Leanne, her year old daughter, and sunshine of our lives giggled from her mother’s arms. “See, Leanne thinks you are just overthinking it.” Lifting the baby up Aria lightly tapped her chin, “You look good in anything, Auntie~” She mouthed for her daughter, high pitched voice and all. “Plus all you have is green, goo goo gaga.”
My cheeks burned red, “Oh hush you.” Shooting my best friend a glare, I could not
SDA Investigations - Sado's First DayIt had been a slow week at the SDA office. Barely a single case had come in and the operators struggled not to fall asleep at their desks. "Can you believe we haven't gotten a single Code Archer in a month?" one of them grumbled to his co-workers while fiddling with a yo-yo.
"What is your obsession with Code Archers?" another operator asked. "They're a lot harder to contain than Code Careys, Plus, they usually cause more problems for our field agents with all the cleanup."
"I wish I were a field agent," a female voice said, yawning before taking a sip of her coffee. "Beats sitting here doing nothing, and you get all those cool gadgets."
The yo-yo's string snapped, sending it rolling across the floor. Its owner threw his hands up in the air. "Oh come on!" he roared, frantically scratching his hair. "One of these phones has to ring! Damn you phones! Ring!"
As if on cue, a phone in the corner of the office buzzed. Operators scrambled over each other to answer it. Unfortunately, their effo
The Adorably, Devilish SoniaTwas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung over the chimney with care, in hopes of St. Nicholas would soon be there. Summer, Jess and Sonia were snug in their beds, as video games and candy danced in their heads.
Down in the living room something stirred, could this be their long awaited visitor?
“Heh, not a chance.” The man replied with a deviously, devilish grin. True he was portly, much like our beloved St. Nick. A grease stained apron was tied around his bulging stomach, “Now where is that girl?” The man muttered, stroking his not so Christmassy beard. The only joy that shone from the man, were the deep red eyes that glowed like embers.
With a light step, he pranced through the house, leaving trails of smoldering footsteps in his wake. Lights dimmed and candles flickered, while the demon snickered.
One, two, three! His skip full of glee, he came to a door. Resting a hand
The Curses: PudgeCurses and Spells were not supposed to be real. They should not work and they should have no power in the real world. They were the things stories were made of. Magic was only supposed to exist in movies, and with cheesy magicians. It was not supposed to exist in the life of eighteen year old Rachel Kent. The only problem was that a curse had landed right on top of her and was showing it's self to be very real. But to start here would be to miss out on how she found herself in this situation.
Rachel Kent was a sight to behold. Not really tall but medium height, she was trim but with good curves. She had a wonderful complexion and always seemed to be tan without very much work. She had wonderful long dark hair. She was popular and well liked. She was not like the stereotype of most popular pretty teenage girls. She had a kind heart and was popular not because of being fast and easy but because she was really a good friend to those around her. She was smart, kind and caring.
She was look
The Curses: Pudge 2Rachel slept deeply that night and while she slept she dreamed wild dreams. There was a part that involved the old woman who constantly growled at her. She somehow knew that she was dreaming and still she had a very hard time making out very much of it. The dream seemed too loud and too fast for much of it to make very much sense to her sleeping self.
She was thankful for waking up even though when she opened her eyes and sat up her head went swimming. She was very dizzy and it took a minute before she could get up out of bed. She put her feet on the floor and she felt cold. She stood up and felt light headed again but she felt that she needed to try and get to her bathroom in case she was getting sick.
She staggered to her bathroom and turned on the light. She grabbed a wash cloth and began running warm water on it with her head bent down looking at the cloth absorb the water. After seeing that it was getting wet she looked up into the mirror in from of her. She looked like crap
The line outside the movie theater was a lot longer than Casey had expected. The line was made worse by the weather. It was one of the coldest and rainiest days she could remember in a long time. She had once again let herself be talked into going to one of the midnight first screenings for some silly superhero movie just because her best friend Justin wanted to go. Of course his girlfriend didn’t want to go she had something else to do.
So Casey stood there next to Justin in the bitter cold and the freezing rain like a moron because despite the fact that he had a girlfriend, she was pretty sure she was in love with him. Getting to do things like this with him was her last refuge as his girlfriend Amanda sunk her she-claws deeper into him. Casey knew that she should enjoy this time with Justin. Still she spent more time kicking herself in the ass when she was with him because she felt like he belonged with her not the fucking little pom-pom queen.
Still after those two dating pre
Friend Zone 2
The darkness didn’t abate for very long. The next days and weeks went by in a blur, as she began healing and learning to walk again. The lightning strike had wrecked her motor skills. The time also pasted mostly in silence for her, since she couldn’t really speak. She worked with several different therapists in regaining her ability to walk, write, and even speak.
It was very slow going but she was making progress. What never went away for her though, were the thoughts of everyone in the room with her, and sometimes even down the hall. She didn’t understand it. She wasn’t even sure if it was real. She couldn’t really tell anyone about it so she just worked day after day trying to get to where she could function again as a normal human being.
Her parents were always around, some of her classmates came by every once in a while. Justin though came by every day and sat with her. She enjoyed his visits the most because thanks to her new ability she could unders
Friend Zone 3
The problem with her newfound abilities was in how to use them without bringing on a lot of unwanted attention. You see when you are a perfectly normal person you can’t just all of a sudden be something different. You cannot, not be normal. It’s what is expected. You can’t just morph and shape shift in front of people. Especially not in front of Justin, or her parents for god’s sake, she would be a lab rat for the rest of her life. She couldn’t seem like she was ahead of people because she could read their thoughts.
So for the next several days Casey plotted and schemed a way to make her abilities work for her and not make her appear as anything other than the normal girl she was. Any changes she made to her body would have to be subtle and over a little bit of time unless she wanted to call attention to herself. Of course that was not what she really wanted. She wanted to be Justin’s ideal girl right on the very spot but she understood that she was
A Mind Over Matter ChristmasA light drizzle fell from the dark sky. James had ridden the last couple hours in a mixture of pouring rain, and a slow misting rain. Finally though he lowered the kickstand on his motorcycle and turn the key to the off position and climbed off the bike. The Christmas lights that hung off the porch and roof shined brightly through the slightly foggy conditions. The lights reflected off the water droplets, as well as the pavement of the driveway.
James removed his helmet as he walked up the driveway careful not to bump any of the cars in his parents driveway. It looked like every family member he had ever met was at his parents house for their annual Christmas Eve party. For the most part he couldn’t believe his good fortune the past several months. He had managed to get Alicia to the audition, and back home again. All without getting another single visit from anyone in Haven. He had hopes that whatever had happened there was under control now.
Grant it he and Alicia hadn
Game OnIt was a bright sunny day. The likes of which the town of River Falls hadn’t seen in a long time. It was a perfect day for Stephanie to spend shut inside her home, with the blinds drawn. The living room illuminated by the soft glow of her TV. The room was filled with the sounds of Link, yelling and screaming as he smashes the opponents on the screen.
Otherwise she was silent as she waited for her girlfriend Aurora to come home. Her eyes remained locked on Link’s blade, as she fought her way through wave after wave of Master Hand’s underlings. Stephanie had been playing all morning, trying her hardest to beat her record time. However, her hands had a different plan as she smashed left when she should have dodged right, resulting in an untimely death.
“Aww!” Stephanie set her controller down and stretched. “I was so close that time,” she reached for her phone to check the time. “Six thirty? Aurora should be home by now…” Her eyes
Phantom and Wolf: Chapter 3 A Rude AwakeningChapter 3: A Rude Awakening
“Say Wing, why does the Phantom always leave the lady a rose when she is not looking? Is it because he likes her and does not know how to grow a pair and tell her?”
Wing chuckled, “Well you could say that, pup. He is indeed infatuated with our lovely Miss Daie, but that is not the only reason he leaves the rose.”
“Really? What other reason is there to leave behind a rose? A least leave the girl a bouquet or something! Damn cheap ass.”
“Ouch! Why did you whack me?” Claw yelped, rubbing the lump that was growing behind her ear. “I was just stating a fact…”
“Did you not pay attention to the film at all?” Wing rubbed his furrowed brows. “What happened at the end of the movie? Something very important within that last minute occurred.”
Claw scratched her chin as she tried to recall what happened. Truth was she actually tuned out the last twenty minutes of the movie
Nicole's Ascension (Story and drawing)They say college has a way of changing a person. Heh, I guess they were right. If you told me when I started at UW-O this year, that by the end of October I would become a goddess I would have thought you were crazy! But… I guess you can’t argue with results. I mean, have you seen the headlines? “Freshman outgrows her college.” Oh and, “Nicole Ange: Towers Above the Countryside.” And my personal favorite, “Freshman Ange Heads Home: A Giantess Tale.”
Now, how I got this big was a total accident, but one that I am not complaining about. It totally made college worth it. You see I was just your normal everyday freshman, though I am fucking hot as hell! Many of the guys on campus thought so too, in fact that is how I got into the science building on that fateful day.
You see I had to take this stupid human biology course, you know gen ed’s and all that
Jennie (Jen-zilla)'s Divine New Friends! The morning sun pierced through the window of a house residing on the shores of Lake Ontario, urging the occupant of the bedroom to stir from her slumber. “Mm… morning already?” the young woman mumbled, bringing a pale hand up to shield her eyes from the sun’s glare.
For the past several months, Jennie occasionally wondered if all that she went through had been a dream. Yet a glance at the ring on her hand reminded her that it was all very real. That reminder made her smile, and she quickly got out of bed to prepare for the day. It was nice of her sister to give her this ring, as while she had gotten a bit used to life as a 500 foot giantess in the months following saving Rochester and becoming seen as a hero and not a monster, it was nice to be able to bathe in privacy and sleep in a warm bed among other things of a normal life often taken for granted.
Still, as she got dressed in her favorite black top, blue shorts, and white jacket, finishing with her blue ha
The water nymphAlong the coast of Ellis at the mouth of the Anigrus river, where the fresh water meets the salty water of the Mediterranean Sea lies the home of a young river nymph. Usually staying higher up in the mountains where the Anigrus River begins, but today was a special day as she was heading towards the mouth of the river. She was excited; brushing her long white hair, she decorated herself in pearls and shells. Slipping on her gold arm bands, she was ready to make her long swim towards the Mediterranean. Taking most of the day light she finally reached the mouth of the river.
Waiting by their designated spot she calmly waited for her friend, in the distance she could see a blurry silhouette. In a couple of minutes she could see the face of her childhood friend as he circled a playful smile at her,
Tera looked at her childhood friend: Percy. Though born a sea nymph, they grew up at the mouth of this river until they got older. Now they can only meet at the mouth o
TGGG: Flora - A Towering Christmas
Winter is a season only a select few look forward to. With absolute confidence, Flora can say she is not among those who enjoy the season. The shorter days grants the plant girl less time to absorb the sun's rays for photosynthesis. The colder weather also makes her feel a little sleepy, as per the plant side of her wishing to hibernate until spring, and the snow covers the plant life she's so fond of.
Yet winter still holds a few enjoyments for her. Being seated near a fireplace is surprisingly comfy, especially with a nice, large, hot cup of cocoa, for example. But Christmas is perhaps at the top of Flora's list of favorite things of the season. She's known about the holiday since she was very young, often having the honor of placing the star atop the tree and caring for it. While she's not entirely certain if the explanation of its significance is true, Flora chooses to simply enjoy the holiday.
This year, Flora is going to be help decorate the huge tree in the center of town. Since
New Lease on LifeNew Lease on Life Ch.1
Summary: This is my first time doing literature on DeviantArt so please don’t tease me. Ever since she was four Hannah was alone, no parents, friends and family she was all alone with a broken heart. Gigantic at 5'4 - A World Ruled Only by SynA World Ruled Only by Syn
"I can't give up, everyone is counting on me" I repeat that in my mind over an over. I have to or else I'll succumb to my fear and stay in this cellar forever. After giving my dear sister Morgan and my good friend Myra a hug, I climb up the ladder and leave the 'safety' of our sanctuary.
Immediately I'm met with the same terrifying sight that has plagued the sky for months. I cannot explain how or why it happened but not too long ago, a dark presence encompassed my world. The sky's soothing blue color that we all took for granted had changed to a crimson red. Unfortunately that wasn't the only change as the clouds were replaced with thousands of enormous human looking eyes that despite never blinking, seemed alive.
The first hour after those damn eyes appeared was probably the most terrifying experience of my life. I'm not sure who or what they were but several gigantic and grotesque creatures descended from the sky and began to destroy everything and e
Jane, Warrior of Decura Chapter 20The Pieces Begin the Move
An hour later, the mirian of Sunhaze Bay were concluding the funerals of their recently deceased kin. Jane, feeling guilty at not being able to save everyone, also attending and even assisted in the burial. After leaving the villagers to say their final goodbyes, Jane returned to the tavern to check on her friends, immediately spotting Nate sitting alone at a table. “Feeling better?” she asked before sitting on the chair next to the reyn.
Nate rolled one of his shoulders. “Still a little sore” he replied before smiling at Jane. “But it's nothing I can't handle.”
Jane smiled back. “Thanks for protecting me again” she said before losing her smile. “I'm sorry I took so long to wake up.”
“What was that thing on your face anyway?” Nate asked.
“I have no idea” Jane replied. “There wasn't a trace of it left in the room when we went to check. Whatever it was, it's gone now
Chapter 13Chapter 13: If You Choose To Accept It
Finally I get to talk again. Well that's the story so far, we basically have 8 people with us around now (including Brock and Misty) and we've been on the road for the past two days. Sadly we haven't had any luck in Vermilion City as it turns out Lieutenant Surge didn't want to aid us at all, with or without people he knew. He did say that he will help us when Giovanni's cover is blown, but only when that happens. So I'd say at this point, we were heading towards Saffron City. "Okay people, listen up." said Brock. "We are about to come up to Saffron City and Sabrina doesn't really care for any outsiders. So we spend the night here and then we speak with her in the morning."
How Brock managed to get supremacy was beyond me, but I didn't argue with someone who lives here. That night, Jake and I were in charge of gathering the wood for the fire. With our knives in hand, we cut down some dead branches which were surprisingly common around Saffro
Gangsters Grimoires Ch2Chapter Two
In Which Caligula Becomes Cellmates With a Druid.
This was not turning out to be the best day in Caligula's life. In fact, it probably ranked somewhere in the bottom ten, which was an impressive achievement, considering how many of those days fell into the 'too much information' category.
As he sat moping in an anti-magic prison cell, he had time to reflect on his recent mistakes. Blasting an undercover police officer in the chest and running away would probably come back to bite him in the ass, considering harmful misuse of magic, especially against an officer of the law, was a definite strike against him if he ever applied for a licence in the future.
Ever since the Magical Revolution ushered in a new age of magical understanding in the late 1700s, the criminal element of many societies had begun recruiting magical beings and utilizing the arcane arts themselves to further their crimes. With such widespread criminal use of magic quickly becoming problematic for law enforc

The light swings around above of the two factions, Forgotten and Order. Both of them stared upon one another, yet the silence overpowers them as Koji and Ziran said nothing. The room was small and it was impossible to fit them all inside. Where the remaining members of both sides were standing outside of the small room before them, the door was opened yet neither of them went inside at all. Koji was standing inside the room pacing around the room. She was nervous as sweat began to fall from her forehead and air damping her fur while she gnarred at her fangs. She wondered where the Deadeyes and Corruption were. It was a long time since their disappearance and no one knew where they were at the time. This only made Koji very worried as she stopped she turned to Ziran then at Zakai and Zeki but both of them were looking at Zakika. All Koji could do was to frown as she stopped, she sighed in silence. The room was quiet only for a while, as Koji began to look around the
Eldritch Girls Chapter 11
Lunch with the Enemy
The next day, Liz was standing out the front of Top Spot café. She'd arrived thirty minutes before lunchtime, hoping Celia would do the same so Liz could get this over with and get on with her Saturday. “I bet she arrives in a limo” she thought while checking the time on her phone. “She is an Alexander after all. They can't go anywhere without five hundred personal servants to kiss the ground they walk on.” Liz let out a yawn and stretched her arms out. “Man... I'm drained from last night's dream training. Koth really did a number on me.”
“Just wait until the next session” Koth-Ladon chuckled, having just appeared directly in front of Liz, starling her.
“Can you not go one day without doing that?!?” Liz growled before lowering her voice when she remembered only she could see the eldritch entity. “Seriously, don't do that again.”
“Just making sure you don't drop your guard
Dearest Sister's Chapter 3Chapter 3:
As Jennie touched the time-line, everything around her suddenly vanished. She found herself in the living room of a pretty big house. To her the room she was standing in looked very familiar. Then realization finally dawned upon Jennie, as she noticed that where she was standing was in her parents house. It looked just like it did many years ago when she was growing up. She was amazed and a bit confused why she was even there.
She was about ready to try and explore around the house, when she suddenly noticed something out of the ordinary in the corner of her left eye. Jennie slowly turned her head and noticed what it was that she was seeing...
It was a little girl, Jennie looked her all up and down, admiring just how cute she really was. The little girl's hair was the same color as Jennie's, but it only reached down to her shoulders, she had on a plain white t-shirt, a pair of blue shorts that reached down to her knees, a pair of white socks that went only just
