Eldritch Girls Chapter 105
Eager for a Scrap Worry was all Liz could feel at the moment as she zipped through the air as quickly as her eye-covered wings could take her. She'd been hovering over Manjimup, swiftly scanning the town from up high with her many, many eyes for any sign of her missing friends, when all of a sudden a pillar of flame had erupted into the air from somewhere around the docks. Liz didn't even need a moment to consider who would be at the centre of the ever-climbing tower of fire, and practically threw herself in its direction. “Celia... Helen...” she thought, her wings flapping almost as quickly as her heart was pounding. “Please be alright. Please.” Liz had been asleep when both Celia and Helen had disappeared from their hidden camp in the middle of the night, something that wouldn't have happened had Liz forcefully taken watch like she should have. But she didn't, and now two of her best friends were most likely fighting for their very lives. She had to help them. She was the reason

Eldritch Girls Chapter 104
Swallowed in Darkness A deep and biting chill dug deep into Katherine's skull as a frost-tipped blade passed by her thrown back head. It hurt significantly, like the worst migraine she'd ever experienced, but that was better than letting Vex's scythe skewer her head. The next swing of the scythe came for her centre, and Katherine was forced to throw her upper body even further back, transitioning into a backwards cartwheel that gave her some much needed distance between herself and her attacker. Vex wasted no time closing that gap, his entire body momentarily transforming into a chill-ridden cloud of black smoke as he moved. Katherine barely had time to recompose herself before Vex had her back in his reach, swinging his scythe with the intent to decapitate his foe. Katherine practically had to throw herself into a crouch, pushing every muscle to its limits, to avoid Vex's weapon. Then, she exploded upwards, shadow claws aimed to skewer Vex in the chest. Unfortunately, Vex was

Snuffed Out “Those idiots.” Liz could barely keep her voice as a mere whisper as she swiftly scanned the forest surrounding the campsite. Despite transforming and taking to the air to give the many eyes on her wings an incredible view, she could not find a single trace of either Celia or Helen anywhere. It was as if the pair had vanished without a trace. The worry in Liz's expression was palpable, and her mind raced with theories towards the current state of her missing friends. Had they run off to rescue Celia's butler or Helen's mum? Maybe both? Had both been taken by the Deltox Pantheon? Or maybe some lingering members of the Divine were behind the pair's disappearance. Her search yielding no results, Liz swooped back down to the camp and landed with a graceful silence. “Did you see them?” Katherine asked, and the tone of Liz's response alone was all the answer she needed. “No...” Liz answered. “I can't see any sign of Helen or Celia.” Liz glanced back towards the tree Helen

Everlasting Princess Hekkapale stood in confused silence, blinking a few times as he tried to comprehend what had just happened. He'd just unleashed enough of his flame to reduce all he saw to ash, including the warehouse he and the others were standing in. When the light of the explosion faded, Hekkapale expected himself to be standing in a field of dancing ashes and charred stone. Instead, he found himself surrounded by an impossibly thick mist, so dense that he could not even see past his elbow when he raised his arm. The moister in the air brought with it a chill that reached his very bones, and Hekkapale guessed mere mortals would be brought low by such a deathly cold. But Hekkapale was no mere mortal. He was a god, and a member of the Deltox Pantheon. He may not be the strongest of the six, that honour belonged to fools like Uullavex and Borelle, but he was beyond anything this pathetic world could throw at him. With barely half a thought, Hekkapale conjured his flames once

Authority Standing among his cultists, Hekkapale eyed both of his opponents, an amused smirk curling up on his face. “A second foe...” he said, brushing himself down after being almost knocked over. “How very interesting... You, girl.” “Me?” Helen questioned, eyes widening in confusion as she pointed to herself. “Your comrade has passed on a once in a lifetime offer” Hekkapale explained. “Perhaps you might be interested in accepting it instead?” Celia opened her mouth to warn Helen not to listen, but Helen's answer came first. “No thank you” she said without hesitation. “You don't have anything I want.” Hekkapale raised a curious eyebrow. “But surely you want to at least hear-” “No.” Helen quickly cut Hekkapale off, much to the god's irritation. “You stole Jules from Celia. You hurt my friend, so I don't care what you have to say.” Helen took her axe in both hands, lowering her stance ever-so-slightly. However, a slight epiphany made her nod and relax. She then said something

Warehouse 05 Thanks to the mist beneath her boots, Celia effortlessly scaled the chain-link fence surrounding Manjimup's docks. Now in the parking lot, Celia moved towards the nearest of the handful of cars currently sitting idle in it. The vehicle was empty, much to Celia's relief, though she worried the lightly staffed night crew might've encountered Hekkapale. And if they had, something horrible may have befallen them. A chill ran down Celia's spine as she tried not to imagine what might've happened to the few working within the nearby warehouses. “They could be fine” she thought. “No need to jump to conclusions. Just move carefully and keep an eye out.” Swiftly and silently moving from one car to another, and finding each of them unoccupied, Celia made her way towards the warehouses that sat on the left end of the property. More specifically, the rightmost warehouse with the large number five painted on it. There was light coming from within the huge concrete structure, though
Solitary Mission Liz hung on Koth-Ladon's words, her mind repeating them in an endless cycle that sunk her deeper and deeper into fear. Just the idea alone was enough to send a chill down her spine and completely overwhelm her mind. She just couldn't fathom ever becoming so beyond everything that she didn't care for anyone or anything anymore. An idea suddenly hit Liz. “But Koth, what about all the information you collect?” she asked mentally. “That's something you care about.” “Merely as a way to distract myself, and nothing more” Koth-Ladon assured, surprising himself with his genuine honesty. That was something he'd not told anyone before, mortal or god. And yet to Elizabeth Stewart he spoke the personal truth just as if the human girl somehow already knew. “I must admit, Kip granting me my own pocket dimension might've been a bigger blessing in disguise than I originally thought.” Liz raised a curious eyebrow. “How so?” she asked, eager to talk about something
My Butler, My Friend Celia's heart raced as panic and fear coursed through her entire body. Skating on mist alone, Celia darted to one side just in time to avoid a tower of flame erupting from the ground. A second later, another pillar of fire forced her to throw herself forward, the edge of the flames managing to catch the ends of the red tails of her skirt. As she dove into a roll, Celia's mist moved from her feet to kept her entire body from actually touching the ground as she sprang back up. “Very impressive” a familiar voice chuckled in amusement. “But can you avoid this?” Intense heat and light drew Celia's gaze to the right, just in time to see a sphere of fire larger than her entire body suddenly encompass her entire field of view. With half a second before she was engulfed by the rapidly approaching fire, Celia thrust her rapier into the centre of the enormous ball, which immediately exploded into an inferno that boomed loud enough to be heard all across Manjimup. What
Victory Crasher Her eye-coated wings spread wide, Elizabeth Stewart continued to soar through the air. Her destination was mere moments away, and she was terrified at what she would find there. “You’re certain of what you sensed?” she asked her partner. “I am” Koth-Ladon assured. “Your friend Lorelei has become something… else. You must reach her and confirm exactly what with your own eyes.” “I still don’t like leaving Celia alone” Liz noted, a worried look on her face. Celia had awoken from her slumber at the same time as Liz, and had been equally as shocked to find that not only were they at a campsite outside of town, but that there was also no sign of their friends anywhere. Before either could panic, Koth-Ladon had told Liz of what he’d sensed, and Celia had insisted Liz go and find out if their friends were okay. “I’ll catch up” Celia had promised her. “She’ll be fine” Koth-Ladon said dismissively, seemingly far more interested in what Liz was heading for rather than
Songstress VS. Prince Something tickled her throat, breaking her from her deep slumber. She sprang up with her fists raised, and the sudden motion threw her from the diagonal stone pillar she’d been sleeping on for hours now. Picking her face off the flat, marble floor, Brutus smacked her lips as she rubbed the back of her head. “How long was I asleep?” she asked, not even bothering to look around to see if anyone was around to answer. She got one anyway. “Not long” Vex chuckled, hands cupped behind his back as he approached his fellow member of the Deltox Pantheon. “But long enough to miss everyone else leaving.” “Leaving?” Brutus questioned, eyes barely half open. “But Xylomura told us to stay here.” “And yet, it’s only you and I that remain here” Vex noted with a shrug. “Besides Lord Xylomura, of course.” “I guess that explains what woke me up...” Brutus yawned. “Borelle or Hekkapale must be flaunting their… Wait...” Brutus paused, her expression immediately shifting to
